If you Target a person hold down CTRL and push enter it targets that person's name in your whisper box.

Now, if you could find a way the other way round, how to target somebody from chat (without copy-paste), for example in order to send him a party invite, THAT would be neat.

This explains some of my more embarrassing wrong-person whispers, actually.

...I tend to alterante alt and ctrl a lot in towns so I can get a good perspective of players vs npc locations.
